New Nissan Juke 2020 pricing and specs detailed: Mazda CX-3 rival goes premium

Nissan Australia has confirmed pricing and specification for the second-generation Juke small SUV, which will be positioned just below the Qashqai when it goes on sale next month.

The Juke range has been completely rejigged, with it now consisting of four variants: the entry-level ST ($27,990 plus on-road costs), mid-range ST+ ($30,740) and ST-L ($33,940), and flagship Ti ($36,490).

For reference, the previous five-variant Juke line-up ranged in cost from $23,490 to $41,490.

To compensate buyers for the higher entry point, Nissan Australia has packed the Juke with standard equipment, with the ST getting dusk-sensing LED headlights, daytime running lights and tail-lights; 17-inch alloy wheels, power-folding side mirrors with heating, and a rear spoiler.

Inside, an 8.0-inch touchscreen multimedia system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a 4.2-inch multifunction display, paddle-shifters, a front USB port and 12V power outlet, and cloth seat upholstery feature.

Advanced driver-assist systems extend to autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, high-beam assist, driver attention alert, hill-start assist, a reversing camera and rear parking sensors.

The ST+ adds LED foglights, TomTom satellite navigation with live traffic, heated front seats and front parking sensors.

Stepping up to the ST-L also nets three drive modes (Eco, Standard and Sport), 19-inch alloy wheels, a six-speaker sound system, a 7.0-inch multifunction display, a rear USB port, an electric park brake with auto hold, ambient lighting, a leather-accented steering wheel and gear selector, cloth/leather seat upholstery, adaptive cruise control and surround-view cameras.

The Ti justifies its flagship positioning with 19-inch Akari alloy wheels, a shark-fin antenna, an eight-speaker Bose Personal Plus sound system, illuminated scuff plates, an Alcantara-trimmed dashboard, door inserts and knee rests; quilted leather/Alcantara seat upholstery and tyre pressure monitoring.

All Juke variants are powered by an 84kW/180Nm 1.0-litre turbo-petrol three-cylinder engine, which is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

The Mazda CX-3 rival’s fuel consumption on the combined-cycle test (ADR 81/02) is 5.8 litres per 100 kilometres.

As reported, the new Juke’s cargo capacity is 422L (VDA), but with its 60/40 split-fold rear bench stowed, it increases to 1305L. It measures 4210mm long (+75mm), 1800mm wide (+35mm) and 1595mm tall (+30mm).
