Mitsubishi ASX 2020 accessories detailed

If the two new style-focused MR and GSR variants of the 2020 ASX don’t go far enough for you, Mitsubishi also offers a range of accessories for its small SUV to add further personalisation.

Up front, customers can opt for a nudge bar, headlight protectors and a tinted bonnet protector that adds a bit of heft to the pint-sized Japanese crossover.

Roof rail crossbars, window weather shields and chrome mirror caps are also available to spruce up the side profile of the new ASX, while a sports spoiler, chrome tailgate protector, mud guards and a rear bumper plate guard are also on offer.

A tow bar kit is also on the accessories list, though the 2020 ASX is available only in front-drive form powered by either a 110kW/197Nm 2.0-litre engine or a new 123kW/222Nm 2.4-litre four cylinder.

An alloy fuel lid and chrome door handles round out the 2020 ASX’ exterior accessories.

Inside, neoprene seat covers for the first and second rows are available, as are rubber or carpeted floor mats.

Pricing is yet to be revealed for each accessory, but a ‘Protection Pack’ is also offered that adds $999 to the asking price.

The pack bundles the bonnet protector, headlight protectors, weathershields, outer scuff plates, cargo liner and carpet floor mats together with a saving of $230.84 according to Mitsubishi Australia’s website.

As a reminder, the new ASX is available in eight exterior colours, while the aforementioned MR and GSR grades add black-out wheels, front grille and door mirrors.

Pricing for the new ASX kicks off at $24,990 driveaway for the manual ES and extends to $35,740 for the Exceed automatic.
