Ford Everest 2020 Base Camp edition revealed

The Ford Everest 2020 range is set to see some changes, including the new Everest Sport model – but there’s even more new stuff in the line-up.

The brand has added a new Ford Everest BaseCamp accessories pack, which is available on all models in the Everest range.

The inventively-name-but-not-very-easy-to-search Everest BaseCamp pack includes a nudge bar, bonnet protector and LED light bar, a Pioneer roof rack platform and carry bars, Sunseeker awning, a snorkel, and a tow bar.

Ford Australia claims the package value is worth $6000, but the cost to consumers to add the BaseCamp pack is just $2000.

There’s a range of accessories you can select from the brand’s catalogue, including a bike rack, kayak rack, a roof luggage bag, ski racks, a roof basket, underbody lighting, a nudge bar, a bull bar, and if you want more shade than the standard Sunseeker awning, there’s a Rhino-Rack batwing awning too.

The Everest 2020 range now consists of eight options: the Ambiente base model is sold with the 3.2-litre five-cylinder engine in rear- or four-wheel drive; the Trend model can be had as a RWD with the 2.0L bi-turbo four-cylinder engine, or as a 4WD with the 3.2L or 2.0L; the newly added Sport 4WD version is sold with a 3.2L or 2.0L, and the Titanium 4WD is now sold with the 2.0L only.
